His full title is "Tathagata Precious King of Dharma, Great Maitreya of the West, Peaceful Lord Buddha, and Master of All Buddhist Teachings on Earth." Among the titles conferred upon the kings during the Ming Dynasty, the Great Precious Dharma King holds the highest status.
